FotoFear
Cirencester, Gloucestershire, UK based Christopher Fear started photography over 60 years ago, when he began using his father's "Box Brownie" camera.

In the 1950's his brother owned and rode horses and Christopher made frequent visits to the famous Badminton Horse Trials and local Point-to-Point races, where his father was medical officer. This is where Christopher's love of horse photography really began.

Over the years, Christopher has contributed to such magazines as ‘Horse and Hound’, ‘Eventing’, ‘Polo Times’, ‘Polo Quarterly’ and, as a freelance photographer, he regularly provides horse sporting pictures to his local newspapers ‘The Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard’ and ‘The Western Daily Press’.

He has also collaborated on several books, including ‘Novice Eventer’, which is yet to be published.

Christopher's other great interest is the performing arts. He feels privileged to have had the opportunity to have worked for many years with Cirencester's own professional "physical" theatre company, KAOS UK, who have found great acclaim nationally. He found their physically taxing and exciting form of theatre  produced great shapes and images to photograph and his time as their "photographer in residence" inspired bold changes in his work.

June 1999 saw Christopher presenting photographs of his many subject interests at his own exhibition in Cirencester.
